How long and how frequently should I meditate?

It is advised to start with short meditations – i.e. 10 minutes – a few times a week and aim to increase the length of time gradually. 40 minutes is an optimum time for more experienced meditators.

In general, follow these principles:
Some is better than none.
Regular is better than irregular.
Sustainable is better than unsustainable.
