Buddhist Action Day: Transforming Self, Transforming World

Cost:There is no charge for this event. However the Centre does depend on donations and we would be grateful for any donation you can make. A suggested amount would be £5.00 – £10.00.

Description:A festival day to mark the conclusion of Buddhist Action Month (BAM).
10am - 11am Meditation

11am - 11.15am Tea Break

11.15am - 1.30pm Poncho Making for refugees and homeless people
(sewers and non-sewers welcome)

1.30pm - 2.30pm Shared Lunch (bring vegetarian lunch to share)

2.30pm - 4pm Short talks (followed by discussion) by:
Gina Plant Cabrita, Andy Blackford, Priyadaka and John Turner on their voluntary action

4pm - 5pm Puja to the Earth (bring an offering)

7pm - 9.30pm Dancing with Awareness led by Holly Hopkins
