Sangha Night: Talk by Vessantara

Date:Tuesday 10th April 2018
Time:7.30pm - 9.30pm

Led by:Vessantara
Description:'The Turning About in the Deepest Seat of Consciousness'. Vessantara will be opening up this topic for us with his usual wit, clarity and depth of penetration.
Vessantara is well known and well loved as an author and Buddhist teacher and we are privileged to have him share his wisdom and experience with us. He will be leading our Sangha Retreat at Vajrasana at the weekend (13 - 15 April).

As a way of marking the 50th birthday of the Order we have decided to revisit a couple of series of talks that Bhante Sangharakshita gave in the Sixties and Seventies and ask speakers to give their own up to date version using the same titles that Bhante used. The two series of talks are The Meaning of Conversion in Buddhism (1965/66) and Human Enlightenment (1975).
