Cambridge Sangha Action: Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar

Date:Friday 17th November 2017
Time:7.30pm - 9.30pm
Cost:Free, but donations welcome
Led by:Jan Osborne
Description:Jan Osborne will now be running an evening looking at the plight of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
Most of you will be aware of the terrible plight of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, forced from their homes and seeking refuge in Bangladesh.

You may also be aware of the very clear statement that Sangharakshita and senior Order Members have written condemning the violence. He reminds us that the Buddha's first principle is Ahimsa - non-violence. You can read the statement HERE.

Please join us to discuss these matters and how they relate to our Buddhist practice, and to send our metta to all those suffering in Myanmar.
