Cambridge Buddhist Centre

Special interest groups

Groups run by people who meet to explore a particular interest.

Volunteering at the Centre

The Cambridge Buddhist Centre is, above all, a community. It takes all of us to make it happen and all of us can play a part. Even if you feel you don't have much time to give, your contribution helps make the Centre what it is - and even a little bit better.

A community choir of Buddhists (and might be Buddhists!) who come together on Tuesdays 17:45-19:15 to sing. Led by Arthasiddhi

Prostration Practice Group

Meeting several times a week during the morning to practice the Going for Refuge and Prostration Practice.

Young Buddhists Group

The Young People's Group is an opportunity to get to know each other, practice Buddhism and discuss its relevance to our modern lives. For men and women from 18 to 35. Meets the first Thursday of the month.

Writing Your Way

This is an informal creative writing group using Manjusvara's book Writing Your Way as a starting point.

Sunday Break Out

Beyond our ideas lies a universe - a universe in which truths, beauty and goodness wait to amaze us. With the imagination we intimate this - through nature and the arts as well as traditional Buddhist practices.
