Learning about Buddhism

Our Buddhism teachersOur Buddhism teachers

Buddhism provides us with methods of transforming self and world by seeing life in a new way.

There are three ways to learn about Buddhism:

Courses

Courses run weekly in the evening. There are two levels.
The Introduction to Buddhism course is suitable for newcomers to Buddhism, and gives a good overview of the subject in a 6 week course.

It can be followed by a Buddhism level 2 course. This year-long course is composed of six modules of 6 weeks each.

Drop-in Buddhism classes

Drop-in Buddhism classes are ideal for people who cannot make our Monday night courses, or to get a taste of Buddhism. Each class will contain a short teaching from the Buddha, followed by discussion to see how to apply it to our lives.

Introduction to Buddhism Day

These days run over a weekend and so are ideal if you can’t make a course, or as a way to get a taster. They cover roughly the same material as the Introduction to Buddhism course, although a little more briefly.
